Moderator's Message

Greetings! I personally thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for His grace and mercies in my life. Above all, I’m thankful to the Lord almighty God that He enabled me to serve as the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Pakistan. The Presbyterian church of Pakistan has entrusted me a very solemn responsibility to lead and serve the church. In this regard I admit that without the meticulous guidance of the Holy Spirit and the cooperation of my friends in Christ, it’ll be impossible to serve with my wholehearted commitment. Therefore I need the support and cooperation of all friends, and partner-churches on local and international level.

I hope the prevailing situation of Pakistan is not hidden from you. The government and people are fighting against terrorism which has really destroyed the peace of our land. We believers need to play a vital role as ambassadors of the “Prince of Peace” to this hopeless world. We appreciate your concern, love and fervent prayers for the Presbyterian Church of Pakistan.

Message from
Executive Secretary

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:18-19.

These words of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ challenge us to preach the gospel to the poor to heal the broken relationships among the individuals and the nations, proclaim the liberty to captives of the sin, the world and the Satan and help the oppressed of all fields of life, to recover the sight of both the physicaly and spiritually blind people of the world and proclaim the acceptability of the eternal life and God’s Kingdom. Lets be a minister seriously in all these fields of life.

REV. DR. MAQSOOD KAMIL
